“What can be imagined can be achieved”


Bringing the main characters, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, or the authors of the X-Files, Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz, to the next edition of the Telefilm Festival. This is what we imagined and what we will try to achieve with your help.
Even if the 2010 edition of the Festival is still far away, the organizational engine is already on and this is the best time to start our new initiative that we called, of course, “BELIEVE”.
The first aim is to show that there’s still an audience interested in bringing the main characters of our favorite TV show to the festival in Milan (we already showed that last year filling an entire cinema with fans during the screening of “Fight the Future” and “I Want to Believe”). But how can we reach our aim? We inspired to the XF3 Army campaign and we thought about different activities.

1. ONLINE PETITION

All you have to do is insert your name or nickname and you email address in the petition you can find here: http://www.beyondthesea.it/petizione.asp (you can also leave a brief message)
Signing the petition is the easiest and most direct way to show how many fans wish this event to happen.

2. POSTCARDS

Italy was the country that sent the third most postcards for the XF3 Army campaign (preceded just by Australia and USA), so why not do it again? The aim of this second activity is to show a “concrete and incontrovertible proof”, like Scully always says, of the existence of an audience ready to reach Milan for the next edition of the Telefilm Festival.
The rules to participate are easy:

1 - buy, draw, or find any kind of postcard showing any kind of image
2 - write “I want The X-Files to the Telefilm Festival 2010” or something similar
3 - send the postcard to this address:

We will deliver everything to the editorial office of the Telefilm Festival at the end of the initiative to convey them what we have “imagined”.

3. TFM NEWSPAPER EDITOR

"Telefilm Magazine" is an Italian national magazine about TV series and the "Telefilm Festival" is organized by that magazine. We ask to everyone to write one, or more, email to Antonio Visca, the "Telefilm Magazine" newspaper editor, to explain the reasons why you want the main actors and/or the authors of The X-Files to the next edition of the "Telefilm Festival".
You can send your email at the address nanonano@telefilmmagazine.com, we're pretty sure he can understand English too!

Right now we haven’t decided any deadline yet for the project “BELIEVE”, but like people say, the soon the better, so let make it happen!
